Tandoori Capsicum Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 tbsp cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup paneer, grated
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 cup french beans,thinly sliced
  • a pinch of garam masala
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 4 tsp green peas
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp raisins
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • Salt to taste

How to make tandoori Capsicum:

  • Slice the capsicum at the stem end and scoop out the seeds and save the stem end.
  • Heat oil,add cumin and let it splutter.
  • Add ginger and garlic pastes and saute for a few minutes.
  • Add all vegetables and stir fry. Season with salt and red chili powder.
  • Fry till oil separates.
  • Take off from the heat.
  • Add grated paneer and garam masala.
  • Cool the mixture.
  • Add cashew nuts, raisins and coriander.
  • Stuff the capsicums with the mixture.
  • Cover with stem end and secure with toothpicks.
  • Skewer the capsicums and grill for 5 minutes or bake in a tandoor for 8 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
