    These Rice rolls are a refreshing change from the usual fried variety, and have become a family favorite. They are great as a cool summertime appetizer, and are delicious dipped in one or both of the sauces.

    Rice Rolls Recipe

    • 2 small rice paper
    • 2 tbsp basil leaves
    • 2 tbsp mint leaves
    • 1/4 cup slices carrots
    • 1/4 cup slices cucumber
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
    • 1/4 cup vermicelli

    Method

    1. Cut cucumber into 2” long skinny sticks.
    2. Remove stems from mint and basil sprigs.
    3. Take small handful of vermicelli noodles and place in bowl of boiling water until soft. Drain.
    4. In a large shallow bowl, fill with two inches of boiling water.
    5. Dip rice paper in bowl, allowing it to sit (no folds or wrinkles) until flimsy and soft.
    6. Move wet rice paper to large place and dab off excess water with tea towel.
    7. In the center of the circle, place pinches of matchstick carrots, cooked vermicelli, mint, basil, cucumber and sprinkle everything with sesame seeds.
    8. Wrap everything up like a burrito, and voila! Rice Rolls are ready to serve.

    Serving Suggestions:
    Serve with Spicy Peanut Dipping Sauce.

    Step 1

    Prick the chicken pieces all over with a fork and slash the meat diagonally about 1/4-inch deep in a few places.

    Step 2

    In a large bowl, mix remaining ingredients together to make the marinade.

    Step 3

    Add the chicken to the yogurt marinade and refrigerate to marinate for at least 8 hours.

    Step 4

    Set oven to broil.

    Step 5

    Wipe excess marinade off the chicken pieces and brush them with some oil.

    Step 6

    Broil the chicken on a rack, turning occasionally, for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through. Tandoori Murgh is ready to serve.

    Step 1

    Heat 1 cup Thread Noodles in microwave with ¼ water with 2 tsp. sugar and 1 tsp kewra liquid.

    Step 2

    When Noodles are softened,cool it down and refrigerate it till Rabri is ready.

    Discard crusts from bread slices.

    Step 4

    Grind these slices in a processor and prepare fresh bread crumbs.

    Step 5

    Boil milk in a pan by simmering in low flame.

    Step 6

    Add bread crumbs, condensed milk and sugar altogether.

    Step 7

    Simmer on a medium flame, stir continuously for about 10 minutes.

    Step 8

    Remove from the fire.

    Step 9

    Add safforn and cardamon powder and mix well.

    Step 10

    Keep it in a refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Rabri is ready to serve, take out the cold Falooda.

    • 4-5 green chillies, thinly sliced

    Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

    Step 2

    When hot add the whole seeds and cook until they sizzle and crackle then add the chopped onions and reduce the heat to low.

    Step 3

    Stir fry onions gently and slowly until they turn into golden.

    Step 4

    Make a paste of the ginger puree, garlic puree, curry powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, with a little water.

    Step 5

    Add this sauce into pan and stir in well and fry for a couple of minutes.

    Step 6

    Now add cooked prawns and stir in well.

    Step 7

    Mix the chopped tomatoes, tomato Puree, together in a blender with 1/2 cup of water.

    Step 8

    Process it and make a fine paste.

    Step 9

    Then pour it into the pan and mix well.

    Step 10

    Turn up the heat until the sauce begins to simmer and leave to simmer for 10 minutes.

    Step 11

    Stir occasionally. Then remove from the heat.

    Step 12

    Transfer into a serving dish and sprinkle garam masala over it.

    Step 13

    Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and green chilies. Prawn Jalfrezi is ready to serve.

    Lift the chicken from the marinade, brush with ghee and place in a flameproof dish.

    Grill under a hot grill for 10 minutes.

    Place the remaining marinade in a pan and reduce over a medium heat.

    Turn over the chicken pieces, baste evenly with half the marinade.

    Brush with melted butter and return to the grill for a further 10 minutes.

    Juicy Fried Fish Recipe

    This fried fish is so flavorful, crispy and juicy, your guests will beg you for the recipe. This easy to make restaurant style dish is a keeper and will have you fried fish on a regular basis.

    • 1 kg mahi mahi fish fillets ((rahu machli))
    • 1/2 cup plain flour ((maida))
    • 4 tbsp lemon juice ((limo))
    • 2 tbsp garlic paste ((lehsan paste))
    • 1 tsp mango powder
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1 tsp red pepper (crushed)
    • 1 tsp turmeric powder ((haldi powder))
    • 1 tsp cumin powder (crushed(zeera powder))
    • 1 tsp carom seeds (crushed(ajwain))
    • salt to taste
    • oil for frying
    1. Wash fish fillets and pat dry.
    2. Sprinkle turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice over the fish. Toss the coat evenly.
    3. Let it marinate for 2-3 hours.
    4. In a large bowl, mix together the plain flour, garlic paste, mango powder, red chili, crushed red chili, carom seeds, cumin powder.Mix well.
    5. Pour this paste over the fish fillets Cover and marinate for another 40 minutes.
    6. After 40 minutes, heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Deep fry fish for 12-15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
    7. Don’t overcook.
    8. Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper.
    9. Transfer into a serving dish.
    10. Garnish with lemon or orange slices.
    11. Fried Fish is ready to serve. ENJOY 🙂
