- 1 cup Assorted Shellfish
- 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 cup Grated Coconut
- 2 Large Onions
- 3 Dried Red Chillies
- 3 tbsp Tamarind pulp
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 6 Flakes Garlic
- Small piece of Ginger
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
- A little amount of water

Heat oil in a pan and seethe the cumin seeds, chillies and coriander till they splutter.
Grind coconut, garlic, onion and ginger to make fine paste.
Saute this paste in oil.
Add little water and fry for a minute.
Add turmeric powder, tamarind pulp, sugar and salt.
Now add the fish and cook it till sauce gets thickened. Fish Temperade is ready to serve. Enjoy!
