    • 2 pounds lean sirloin beef tenderloin, cut into thin slices
      2 tsp olive oil
    • 1/2 cup chili sauce
    • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tsp garlic paste
    • 1 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
    • 1 tsp Italian herb seasoning
    • salt to taste
    • 8 slices provolone cheese
    • 4 Italian Hogie rolls
    • 1/2 cup caramelized onion

    Step 1

    Heat a grilled pan over medium high heat.

    Step 2

    Put beef sliced steak on it. Drizzle some oil.

    Step 3

    Cook steak for 4 minutes on each side or until lightly browned but not crisp.

    Step 4

    Stir in the garlic, chili sauce, soy sauce and tomato sauce.

    Step 5

    Tenderize steak by cutting into meat with the side of your spatula while they cook.

    Step 6

    Season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

    Step 7

    Cover and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes or until cooked thorough.

    Step 8

    Split Italian rolls into lengthwise.

    Step 9

    Line each of split roll with 2 slices of provolone cheese.

    Step 10

    Divide steak mixture into 4 equal portions.

    Step 11

    Put hot steak mixture on Roll. Top with Carmalized onions.

    Step 12

    Rolls on top of the cheese. The heat from the meat and onions will melt the cheese.

    Step 13

    Transfer into a serving platter. Garnish with lettuce leaves. Delicious Cheese Steak Sandwich is ready to serve. ENJOY!!

    Although I do really like making my own pizza from scratch, including the dough; it can be a bit of a faff and takes a while. Not good if you are hungry and craving pizza fast! I am not a fan of shop bought pizza bases, but one really good ready-made solution is naan bread; it makes the perfect pizza base and because it is pre-baked you simply need to melt your cheese to finish off your pizza.

    If the first thing you do when you crave pizza is pull out a take-out menu, it’s time to switch things up a bit. Step (leap?) outside of your comfort zone and make your own at home. Don’t worry, this doesn’t require whipping up your own dough and waiting for it to rise (or whatever it’s supposed to do). Now you can use a traditional Asian flatbread, a.k.a. naan, to bring your favorite food to life. It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3… literally.

    Step one: Buy a piece of naan.

    Step two: Top it with delicious ingredients.

    Step three: Throw it in the oven. Because ain’t nobody got time to make that dough.

    This one is topped simply with pizza sauce, leftover grilled chicken, with some vegetables (onion, sweet corn, green pepper, mushrooms) olives and herbs and chili flakes for flavour; you could also use a sore bough Pizza sauce if you prefer. I use a mixture of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses but really you can use whatever kind of cheese you like, or happen to have in the fridge. You can also chuck on some cooked veggies, kebabs or meat (any toppings need to be pre-cooked as the pizza is in the oven for such a short amount of time).

    Preheat oven to 375°F.

    Spread three-fourths of sauce mixture in the bottom of a medium baking dish.

    Arrange roll-ups seam sides down over sauce mixture.

    Does anyone remember those mini pizza bites…? Am I the only one that gobbled up two to three every day as a tea time snack? Well, guess what. These are sooooo much better! And easy to make!

    They would be perfect for the friends pizza party because you can fill them individually with a vast array of toppings. They’d also be perfect as an appetizer with a glass of lemonade. In fact, I don’t really know of a time that these pizza rolls is not appropriate, do you?

    I didn’t think so.

    This Homemade Pizza Roll Recipe is perfect and my family favorites. I used my favorite pizza dough recipe to make these rolls and they turned out beautifully in just over an hour, start to finish. Super fast. You could also make the dough ahead of time and freeze it, which is what I do often!

    Let it be known that although the recipe calls for whole wheat flour, more often times than not, I just use all white flour. What can I say? I’m a carb purist.

    All you is roll out the Pizza dough, then fill with whatever toppings you choose, rolled into a spiral then baked. I kept things simple with pizza sauce, chicken and mozzarella cheese, few veggies but you could totally go crazy here and add sauteed mushrooms, goat cheese, pepperoni, bits of sausage and even scrambled eggs and cheese. The options are endless!

    Pizza sauce is my favorite part about the pizza (besides a crispy crust) and the cheese is Fatima’s & Wahab’s favorite. I fill these pizza rolls with just a little bit of sauce to make them happy and I serve with extra sauce to make me happy. 🙂

    Homemade Pizza Rolls

    A tasty dinner option for busy nights and with few simple ingredients , prep has never been easier! Take your pizza and give it a roll!
    Prep Time 10 minutes
    Cook Time 43 minutes
    Total Time 1 hour 13 minutes

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb pizza dough
    • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
    • 1/2 cup cooked chicken pieces or mince
    • 1 cup grated Mozzarella Cheese
    • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar Cheese
    • 1 green bell pepper chopped
    • 4-5 black olives chopped
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1 teaspoon dried basil
    • a pinch of red pepper flakes

    Instructions

    • Line a 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper and keep aside.
    • Lightly flour a work surface and roll the dough into an 8×12 rectangle.
    • Spread the pizza sauce over the dough to the edges.
    • Top with the chicken or mince, then 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese, green pepper and olives.
    • Sprinkle oregano and basil over it.
    • Starting on the long side, roll the dough up to form a log.
    • Trim the edges if uneven, then cut the dough into 9 equal slices.
    • Place the slices, cut side down, in the prepared baking dish, making 3 rows of 3 rolls each.
    • Cover the dish with foil and let it sit to rise for 30 minutes.
    • Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 375ºF.
    • Place the rolls in the preheated oven, still covered, and bake for 20 minutes.
    • Remove the foil and return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
    • The rolls should be browned and the cheese melted.
    • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella and red pepper flakes over the top of the rolls, then return to the oven until the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes.
    • Let the rolls cool slightly in the pan, then top with the remaining basil.
    • Delicious Homemade Pizza Rolls are ready to serve. ENJOY!

    Notes

    Recipe Note’s:
    You may use whole wheat pizza dough instead of white flour.
    If you prefer, you can bake these rolls in two muffin pans or even a 9×13 baking pan.

  • Think Outside the Pan: Double Pan Pizza Recipe (Next-Level Homemade Pizza!)

    Double Pan Pizza Recipe

    Ingredients

    For Pizza Dough

    • 2 cups wheat flour
    • 2 cups refined flour
    • 1 egg
    • 3 tbsp milk powder
    • 2 tbsp yeast
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp fresh coriander
    • a pinch of onion seeds
    • 2 pinch crushed red chili
    • 2-1/2 cps Luke warm water or milk

    For Pizza Topping

    • 1 cup boneless chicken cut into cubes
    • 1 cup onion cut into cubes
    • 1 capsicum cut into cubes
    • 8 mushrooms
    • 1 packet Mozzarella Cheese
    • 2 tbsp garlic minced
    • 2 tbsp garlic sauce
    • 1 tbsp red chili crushed
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    • 1 tsp salt

    For Pizza Sauce

    • 2 cups tomato paste
    • 4 tbsp olive oil
    • 2 tbsp garlic minced
    • 2 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
    • 1 tbsp red chili crushed

    Instructions

    To Make Pizza Sauce

    • Heat oil in a pan.
    • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
    • Then add all sauce ingredients.
    • Mix well.
    • Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes or until sauce is thickened.

    To Make Pizza Topping

    • Heat oil in an another pan.
    • Saute garlic in it.
    • Put chicken to the pan and fry for for 5 minutes.
    • Then add red chili, onion seed and black pepper, salt.
    • Mix well.

    To Make Pizza Dough

    • In a large bowl, combine together flour, green coriander, milk powder, yeast, sugar, salt, crushed red chili, mustard seeds and egg.
    • Knead a dough by using warm water or warm milk.
    • Leave it for 45 minutes.

    To Proceed

    • Take a simple frying pan and spread the pizza dough on it.
    • Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
    • Press it a little bit with a cloth like chapatti, to cook properly.
    • When it starts rising/cooking, turn it over.
    • Spread prepared pizza sauce over the cooked side of dough.
    • Place chicken, onion, capsicum and mushrooms on it.
    • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over it.
    • Cover the pan again and let it cook on low flame for 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
    • Double Pan Pizza is ready to serve.

    Notes

    Serve hot with Mexican Tomato Sauce.

    Ingredients

    For Dough:

    • 1 egg
    • 1-1/2 cups flour
    • 4 tbsp dry milk
    • 4 tbsp oil
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1 tsp yeast
    • 1/4 tsp salt

    For Filling:

    • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
    • 2 boiled potatoes
    • 1 raw potato, finely chopped
    • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 1 tsp crushed garlic
    • 1 tsp red chili flakes
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1/2 tsp oregano

     

    Directions:

    To Make Dough:

    1. In a bowl, combine plain flour with yeast, dry milk, half beaten egg, sugar, salt and oil.
    2. Knead a soft dough.
    3. Then covered with a wet cloth.
    4. Leave it for an hour.
    5. Then again knead the dough.
    6. Roll into a 6 inches long and 4 inches thick bread.

    To Make Filling:

    1. Place boiled potatoes in a bowl.
    2. Mash them properly.
    3. Add spring onions, black pepper, salt, butter, cheese and red chili flakes.
    4. Mix well.

    To Proceed:

    1. Put this mixture on bread and roll over.
    2. Brush with beaten egg on top of it.
    3. Top with raw potato, remaining cheese, garlic and oregano.
    4. Cover with a plastic bag and leave it for 30 minutes.
    5. Preheat the oven to 180 degree C.
    6. When dough has risen to double the size bake it for 30 minutes.
    7. Delicious Cheesy Potato Bread is ready to serve.

    • 1 packet mozzarella cheese
    • 2 cups boiled macaroni
    • 1 cup sweet corn
    • 1/2 cup cornflour
    • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
    • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
    • 2 green chilies, thinly sliced
    • 1/2 bunch parsley, finely chopped
    • 2 tsp red chili flakes
    • 1 tsp oregano
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 50 gm butter
    • 2 tbsp oil

     

    Directions:

    1. Place boiled macaroni in a chopper.
    2. Chop for few minutes.
    3. Take it out in a large bowl.
    4. Add 1/2 mozzarella cheese, cornflour, butter, eggs, green bell pepper, green chilies, parsley, oregano, red chili flakes, salt and corn.
    5. Combine all the ingredients.
    6. Preheat oven to 200 degree C.
    7. Grease a baking dish with oil.
    8. Pour the mixture on baking dish.
    9. Sprinkle remaining grated mozzarella cheese over it.
    10. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes.
    11. Let it cool for 5 minutes on wire rack then take out of the oven.
    12. Cut into thin slices.
    13. Macaroni and Cheese wedges are ready to serve.

    Process until well combined.

    Cover with foil.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

    Remove from the oven and leave it cover for about 15 minutes so burfi remain moist with the steam.

    When Paneer burfi comes to the room temperature, cut into your desired shapes. Paneer Burfi is ready to serve.

    Today’s post is about a recipe that is as old as my habit of  recording/saving recipes in hardcover notebooks. It’s a foolproof recipe for a SUPER YUM salad that has always been a savior whenever I’m pulling off family dawats/get together s or random hangouts at home with friends.

    Tbh, I can’t believe I didn’t put this french salad recipe up on the blog earlier.

     Servings:4

    Ingredients

    For Salad:

    • 1 boiled potato, chopped
    • 1/2 bunch iceberg, chopped
    • 1 carrot, chopped
    • 1 cucumber, chopped
    • 1 tomato, chopped
    • 1/2 radish, chopped

    For Salad Dressing:

    • 2 tbsp lemon juice
    • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 1/2 cup  mozzarella cheese, grated
    • 1 tsp black pepper, crushed
    • salt to taste

    Directions:

    1. French Salad is ready to serve. Enjoy!
    2. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until chill.
    3. Toss to coat evenly.
    4. Sprinkle  grated cheese over it.
    5. Pour this salad dressing on the chopped vegetables.
    6. Mix well.
    7. In a small bowl, add mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, lemon juice, black pepper and salt.
    8. set aside.
    9. Place all chopped vegetables in a large bowl.
    10. Serve with BBQ meal.

    Cheese Chaat

    There are many ways to include cheese in your meals and here is one chatpata way _ that of cheese chaat. Cheese Chaat is an easy and quick recipe that is prepared with grated cheese, potatoes, sev, onion, sweet chutney and chaat masala.

    Ingredients

    • 2 boiled potatoes, peeled & cubed
    • 1 small onion, chopped
    • 1 tomato, chopped
    • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
    • 1/4 cup sev
    • 2 tbsp lemon juice
    • 2 tbsp sweet chutney
    • 1 tbsp green chutney
    • 1 tsp chaat masala powder
    • salt according to taste
    • Few coriander leaves, for garnishing

    Directions:

    Step 1

    Place the potatoes, tomatoes, and onions in a large bowl.

    Step 2

    Stir in the sweet chutney, green chutney and lemon juice.

    Step 3

    Season with salt and chaat masala. Toss to coat evenly.

    Step 4

    Top with sev and cheese.

    Step 5

    Garnish with coriander leaves. Cheese Chaat is ready to serve. Enjoy!!
