Crispy Aloo Samosa

Prep Time:25 minutes
Cook Time:15 minutes
- 2 cups plain flour
- 4 tablespoon butter or ghee
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ajwain
- 1/2 teaspoon white cumin
- water as required
For Samosa Filling:
- 4 boiled potatoes
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 4 tablespoon green coriander, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, crushed
- 1 teaspoon red chili, crushed
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, crushed
- salt to taste
- oil for deep frying
To Make Dough:Place dough ingredients in a large bowl. Knead dough with water.
Cover the dough wet a wet cloth.
Leave it for 30 minutes.
To Make Filling: Mash potatoes with hand so we have some potato pieces too.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add boiled potato and mix all ingredients.
Adjust seasoning according to your taste.
Take it in a bowl and let it cool before stuffing in samosa patti.
To Proceed: Make small balls out of the dough.
Roll out round and cut from centre and divide it in two.
Put 2 tablespoon filling on samosa patti. Give it shape of samosa.
Heat oil in a deep pan or karahi.
Deep fry samosa for 5-7 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper.Crispy Aloo Samosa are ready to serve.
