- 1 kilogram daal channa
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 egg
- Bread crumbs (optional)
- Oil for frying
- 1 tsp red chili
- 1 pinch black paper
- Salt to taste
- A Pinch turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp chaat masala

Boil daal in 2 glasses of water and salt until it get smooth.
Grind it and add all above ingredients and mix well.
Make kabab of this batter.
Heat oil, dip kabab in egg and then roll in bread crumbs(optional) and shallow fry until golden brown.
Remove from the oil and drain on an absorbent paper. Daal kabab is ready to serve.
- Serve with paratha or alone with mint chutney.
