Tawa Chicken Bharta

- 4 boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, remove seeds & cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 green chilies, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp cumin seeds, roasted & ground
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp salt

- Heat oil on a griddle or tawa.
- Fry onions for 5-6 minutes or until light golden.
- Now add chicken strips and cook for 5 minutes or until no longer pink.
- Then add red chili powder, salt, coriander powder, cumin, white pepper, dry mango powder, tomato paste and ketchup.
- Stir frequently.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is tender.
- Then add green bell pepper, tomato cubes and green chilies.
- Stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Then remove from the heat.
- Take it out in a serving dish.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Tawa Chicken Bharta is ready to serve.
