Samosa Dipping Sauce Recipe

  • 1 cup tamarind pulp
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or jaggery
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 tsp red chili, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • Salt to taste

Step 1

Rinse tamarind for few changes of water. Then soak in hot water for 1/2 an hour.

Step 2

Knead and strain through a sieve. Remove seeds.

Step 3

Take a small pan, add all remaining ingredients in it. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Keep stirring and mix well.

Step 4

Let allow to cool completely.

Step 5

Take it out in a serving bowl. Samosa Dipping sauce is ready to serve.
