A very flavourful chutney recipe made with mint leaves and green chilies. This chutney has the aromatic freshness of mint combined with the earthiness of the coriander. Give it a try!!

  • 2 cups fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 4 green chilies,finely chopped
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, optional
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • water,if needed
  • salt to taste

Step 1

In a blender or food processor, blend all of the ingredients until smooth.

Step 2

You may need to add a little water to help the blending process.

Step 3

The consistency may be adjusted according to personal preference. You may add a little water for a slightly thinner consistency.

Step 4

Refrigerate or use immediately. Mint Chutney is ready to serve.



  • This chutney will last for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.



  • Serve with Tikka, curry, paratha or biryani.
