Handi kebab Recipe

Handi kabab is a exotic meal that is completely based on a side dish. Fried kebabs are simmered in a handi (clay pot) with a quick dry spicy curry. Check it out the handi kebab recipe here!!

  • 500gm mutton, cubed
  • 3 tbsp raw papaya paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp onion paste
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp roasted coriander seeds, crushed
  • 1 tsp all spice powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

For Garnishing:

  • 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, thinly sliced

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients, except the onion and oil.

Step 2

Set aside to marinate for a few hours or overnight.

Sep 3

Heat oil in a deep pot and fry the onions till golden.

Step 4

Add the meat and one cup water and cook till done.

Step 5

Garnish with green chilies, mint leaves and coriander leaves. Handi kebab is ready to serve. Enjoy!
