- 18 dates, pitted
- 3 tbsp chopped almonds
- 3 tbsp chopped cashew nuts
- 3 tbsp chopped pistachios
- 2 tbsp dessicated coconut
- 1 tsp sweet aniseed
- 1 tsp honey

Wash dates properly. Drain and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together the coconut, almonds, pistachios, aniseed and honey.
Now cut dates lengthwise to the centre and remove the stones.
Stuff each date with honey-nuts mixture.
Press them gently to encase the filling.
