Khasta Paratha Recipe

  • 1/2 kg plain flour
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter
  • a pinch of baking soda
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • oil for frying

Step 1

In a medium bowl, beat egg with sugar and salt.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, sift flour. Pour eggs mixture into the flour.

Step 3

Add oil. Knead a soft dough by using water. Cover the dough with a wet cloth.

Step 4

Let stand for 2 hours.

Step 5

Now make parathas out of the dough.

Step 6

Place paratha on the hot griddle. Fry in oil or ghee until golden and crispy. Khasta Paratha is ready to serve.
