Creamy Chicken Karahi
Creamy Chicken Karahi is a tempting dish and sure to hit in family. Cream infuse the flavor of chicken. I used chicken with bones in it but I will recommend to make it with boneless chicken for more tasty result. This creamy and velvety chicken karahi will melt in your mouth. - 1-1/2 kg whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoon cornflour
- 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
For Creamy Gravy:
- 4 onions, finely chopped
- 1 cup oil or butter
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup tomato paste
- 2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly crushed
- Salt to taste
- 1 packet fresh cream
- 4 green chilies, thinly sliced
- few coriander leaves.
- few ginger slices

Wash chicken propely. Pat dry.
Marinate chicken with cornflour, lemon juicea and ginger garlic paste.
Cover and leave it for at least 30 minutes.
Now Heat oil in a wok or karahi over medium heat.
Saute onions for 5-7 minutes or until tasnculant.
Now take them out and make its paste in a blender with little water.
Now fry the chicken pieces in the reamining oil for 10 minutes or until no longre pink.
Add tomato paste, salt, red chilies, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powde and all spices powder.
Cook and stir for few minutes then add yogurt.Mix it well.
Now add onion paste with little water.
Cover and simmer on low flame for 20 minutes or until chicken is tender and done.
Turn the heat off and fresh cream. Mix well.
Garnish with green chili, ginger and coriander leaves. Delicious Creamy Chicken Karahi is ready to serve. ENJOY 🙂
