Chili Garlic Sauce is a tempting blend of tomatoes, ground chilies, vinegar, jaggery and garlic. Spicy flavor of sauce is a great complement with fried foods and even in gravy. Make it at home with this Chili Garlic Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 15 dry red chilies, crushed
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1-1/2 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tsp all spice powder
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • salt to taste

 

Directions:

Step 1

Place all ingredients except sugar and cornflour in a large saucepan. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until tomatoes and onion are tender. Remove from the heat. Let it cool.

Step 2

Transfer it into a blender or food processor. Process until smooth. Now return to the sauce pan. Add sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved.

Step 3

Dissolve cornflour in a little water. Pour cornflour mixture into the saucepan. Stir gently. Simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken. Transfer to jars.Cool completely. Chili Garlic Sauce is ready to serve. Enjoy!!
