  • 2 pounds cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups apple Butter
  • 1-1/2 cups crushed gingersnaps
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Step 1

Place ginger snaps, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix until well combined. Press the crust with a spoon into a 10-in spring form the pie pan.

Step 2

Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let it cool completely.

Step 3

Place cream cheese, cornstarch and sugar in a large bowl. Beat until smooth. Add sour cream to this mixture and beat in the eggs. Add apple butter and remaining 3/4 cup butter. Beat again until smooth.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into the prepared crust.Bake at 350° in a water bath for about 2 hours or until done. Apple Butter Cheesecake is ready to serve. Enjoy!!
