- 1-1/2 pounds halibut steaks, bones removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1-1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 6 tbsp butter, divided
- 3/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- minced fresh parsley, optional

Melt 2 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Place halibut into the skillet.
Stir in thyme and garlic. Cook for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Remove and set aside.
Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Stir in flour until smooth.
Season with salt. Cook and stir until golden brown.
Gradually add chicken broth. Stir in cream.
Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
Layer half of the noodles, halibut, white sauce and cheese in a greased 13×9-inch. baking dish.
Cover and bake at 350 degree F, for 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer or until sauce is bubbly.
Remove from the oven. Top with parsley. Alaskan Halibut Lasagna is ready to serve.
