  • 1 kg mutton
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 3-4 onion slices
  • 4 cloves
  • 4 cardamoms
  • 10 black peppers
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • Ginger slices for garnishing

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan, add all the spices and cook for a while and then add the meat.

Step 2

Cover the pan and cook on low heat.

Step 3

When tender, add onion and tomato slices and mix well.

Step 4

Cook for 8-10 minutes or until done. Hyderabadi Gosht is ready to serve.
