I’m Bushrah: a home chef and young professional on a mission to simplify the relationship between food, fitness, health, and happiness. I was born and raised in the heart of Pakistan(Lahore). Food is probably the first love for Lahori’s. The people who are born in Lahore know it very well that Lahore is the Foodistan of Pakistan.
I’ m a food blogger and by profession a web programmer and this website is my own creation. Being a lahori, I love to cook and eat delicious. Despite having many interests in life, my greatest joy is FOOD! 😀
As a child, some of my earliest and fondest memories are of following my Mommy & Father around in the kitchen and learning from them, the joys of creating wonderful food. My father was a businessman also a talented cook, his knowledge and experience and encouragement from my family, enthused me to cook dishes that were enjoyed by my siblings and my parents.
Today, my own Recipestable is the focal point of our home and is always a happy, warm and bustling place. In this my favourite room, I can produce traditional dishes to a very high standard, but I love trying out new recipes which I test, create and perfect for my family, and thousands of welcome visitors.
I love to spend time in my Kitchen & Roof top Garden. I always scoping out food and products that are natural, organic, pure, halal, raised humanely, sourced ethically and brought to market without poisonous toxins and chemicals. Unfortunately, that’s not always an easy thing to do, but it is getting easier as more great companies produce wonderful products I love to shout out to the world- that means so you can find out about them, too!
